Placeringen af a-kraftværkerne i verden.

kina Verden over er ca. 440 enheder fordelt på 18 lande i drift. I den vestlige verden er programmet med udbygning stort set færdiggjort.
En del af de første prototyper er stadig i drift. De ældste findes i Storbritannien, hvor 4 specielle prototyper i Calder Hall stadig er i drift efter 40 - 50 års drift.

Mærket ved Iran skyldes 2 reaktorer, der er under opførelse - det samme gælder for nogle i Kina.

Der udbygges kraftigt i Asien - Kina, Japan, Taiwan og Korea.
